Parc Château De La Reynerie

Nestled within the city of Toulouse, Parc Château De La Reynerie is a fort that often goes unnoticed by visitors, yet its solitary presence is captivating. For more details about this historical site, you might want to visit Wikipedia.

The atmosphere here carries a sense of melancholy, hinting at the bygone era of a wealthy family. While the exterior is well-maintained by the authorities, the fort’s age suggests it might not endure forever.

A peculiar aspect of our visit was the curious attention from the local crowd. Initially, we thought it was due to us being foreigners, but we later realized that many residents are immigrants.

I’ve shared a few photographs from our visit below. As for the mysterious shadows in the first photo, I can’t explain them—perhaps they’re echoes of the past still lingering here!

The middle photograph, capturing a rainbow over a small pond, has become quite popular on Google Maps, quickly attracting many views.

Below is a 360-degree photograph from a mini project by KPS & Nathan, which contributed to our Local Guide status before we left Toulouse. Please use your mouse scroll to zoom in and out, and drag your mouse left, right, up, and down to explore all the walls and roof of the architecture.
